- כְּבִישָׁהf. (כָּבַש) making a path, side-path. Mikv. VIII, 1 מפני הכ׳ Ar. on account of the passing by (of travellers that leave the highway for some cause). (Ed. מפני הכְּבִיסָה on account of the ponds being used for washing clothes, v. comment.
